Vaccinations
Vaccinations are a safe and easy way to protect your pet from harmful and potentially deadly disease. We design a vaccination schedule based on your pet’s health, lifestyle and risk of exposure. Our customized approach maximizes the protective benefits of the vaccine, and eliminates needless over vaccination.
Nutrition

As pets age, their nutritional needs change. We assess your pet’s weight, skin, coat and health as a component to your pet’s wellness exam. We will make nutritional recommendations, which may include prescription diets or nutritional supplements to assist your pet.
Pet wellness visits, vaccines, and proper nutrition help pets live longer, healthier, more active lives. Protecting your pet’s health is the key objective to our preventive care exams. Contact us to set up an appointment. Let us help you have more good years together with your pet.
Top 4 things that will help your pet live longer
1. Heartworm Prevention
Dogs
90% will contract heartworms without prevention. It will eventually cause bronchitis, pneumonia, and heart failure. It is carried by mosquitos and 100% preventable. We use ProHeart 6 injections that prevent heartworms for 6 months at a time.
Cats
30% (depending on source, some say higher) will contract lung disease associated with heartworms without prevention. That is higher than either Feline Leukemia or Feline AIDS. It will quickly cause vomiting, coughing, severe lung congestion, allergic reactions, and DEATH. REVOLUTION every month will prevent heartworms as well as fleas, ear mites, roundworms, and hookworms.
2. Dental Care
Dogs and Cats - Good dental care (brushing, yearly cleaning, antibacterial rinses and chews) WILL ADD YEARS to your pet’s life. If you can see tartar, we need to clean them. If they are loose, we need to pull them. If they are infected, we need to treat them. These oral bacteria are causes of infections in the heart, liver, kidneys, and lymph nodes.
3. Weight Control
Dogs and Cats - Proper body condition has also been shown to extend a pet's life by an average of 2 years. Feeding 25% less food is a place to start. PURINA funded the study, makes money by selling pet food, and still recommends less food. WHY? Because they know, in the long run, they will make more money if your pet lives longer. FEED LESS.
4. Early Detection of Disease
Dogs and Cats - Detecting problems in your pet’s body early, allows us to make some lifestyle changes to minimize the progression of disease past the point of treatment. In some cases we can even provide a cure before your pet has to endure any discomfort . Problems associated with the kidney, liver, heart, thyroid, blood sugar, and some kinds of cancer, can only be detected through regular examinations and routine blood screening.
